I have been using this app for years, when it was LifeUp Pro on Android. It literally changed my life! I struggle with executive functioning problems due to several neurodivergent conditions. This app is the perfect coping strategy to help keep tasks engaging by giving me the same dopamine hits I get from playing video games.
In the two years since I began using it, I have lost over 30 lbs, enrolled in a masters program, and overall improved my quality of life. So I am not exaggerating when I say this app literally changed my life.
Like LifeUp Pro, ulives was created and is maintained by a very small team of developers. Despite the small team, the developers are fantastic about accepting feedback and providing regular updates to improve the experience.
One change I would love to see is more precision with selecting days for tasks to occur. For example, I would love to be able to have a task occur monthly, but specifically on the first Saturday.

I would say this is what I’ve been looking for over the years. I love mechanics, customization, and the main idea of creators — build your own rules.

ulives turned my study time into a game I actually want to win — the only app that rewards consistency, not perfection.
I love how every Pomodoro I complete gives me coins I can trade in for rewards I set myself. Even on days when my mood is low, I can still log a little progress and earn something for it.
ulives has helped me break free from the all-or-nothing mindset. It makes discipline feel like a game, turns consistency into a streak I want to keep up, and gives me a way to measure effort instead of perfection.

I already left a review before, but I just can’t help myself — ulives keeps evolving, and I absolutely have to thank the developer again. The latest update added exactly the features I was missing.
What amazes me the most is that, as far as I know, this is all being developed by just one person. And that person clearly knows what they’re doing.
This app has become a part of my everyday life — and I’m genuinely glad I discovered it. If you’re still unsure — don’t be. Just download it and start playing with your to-do list like it’s an RPG, not just another sad adult responsibility.
